Biodiesel Feedstock
Fat is the principal feedstock in biodiesel production, which can be found across a wide spectrum of sources. However, to meet the requirements of EN14214:2003, the feedstock in biodiesel production has to fulfill the values of properties as in table below:

Currently, rapeseed oil is by far the leading feedstock for biodiesel production. However, there is a clear market trend that a larger variety of feedstock sources are being used, such as sunflower oil, palm oil, soy oil, and etc.
