At the moment, Caroteh runs the only sizeable biodiesel plant in Malaysia. The plant is strategically located at Chemor, Perak, Malaysia. This provides access to rich supply of crude palm oil, as Perak State remains the 3rd largest producer of palm oil in Peninsular Malaysia. |
The plant has been running at full enlarged capacity to achieve optimal operating levels.
With increased demands for its high quality molecularly-distilled methyl ester, Carotech has expanded with a new state-of-the-art plant, located at Lumut Port (Perak Darul Ridzuan), that produces more than one hundred thousand tonnes of biodiesel per year. This new plant will further strengthen Carotech's position as one of the largest biodiesel producers in Malaysia.
